 What is Water Quality Testing? 

A continuous supply of water of the specified chemical and microbial quality is essential to the correct functioning of all washer disinfectors. Water which is too hard or has too high a concentration of dissolved solids may impair the activity of detergents (or require the use of increased quantities of chemical additives) and cause deposits, scaling or corrosion of items being processed.

Water containing high numbers of micro-organisms may recontaminate disinfected items. For all these tests the water should be sampled from the water supply pipe to each washer disinfector. Additional samples may need to be taken from any water treatment plant when trying to identify the cause of a non-conformity.
